How do we sprout our Brown Rice?
We sprout our organic brown rice using the only system of its kind in the United States. We utilize a state-of-the-art technology to germinate, or sprout, the brown rice using a humidity / steam process, unlike other producers who soak the rice in water. Our germination process gradually increases temperature and humidity levels, creating an environment that's conducive to sprouting. At the optimal moment the process is interrupted just before sprouting occurs, and moisture is reduced during the final phase, preserving the valuable nutritional components of the rice. This method provides a number of benefits over the soaking technique, including virtually eliminating any bacteria and delivering a nutritious, delicious and quite remarkable organic sprouted brown rice for you.
